The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. I am a professional photographer specializing in lighthouse, maritime, nature and urban photography. I've been published in many national books and magazines, and am the publisher and co-publisher of numerous lighthouse and wildlife posters. I have led a number of tours for the Smithsonian Institution and produced multimedia slide shows for them and others.
