This image was made some time ago, note the gas prices. Crisfield, MD is a watermen's town where the bounties of the sea are collected and shipped to market. Here the town represents the major connection to the island of Tangier in Virginia and the Maryland Smith Island.
I am a professional photographer specializing in lighthouse, maritime, nature and urban photography. I've been published in many national books and magazines, and am the publisher and co-publisher of numerous lighthouse and wildlife posters.
