SANDY NECK LIGHTHOUSE
BARNSTABLE, MA
The only reasonable was to view this lighthouse is by boat from one of the marinas in Barnstable. The light room is missing on this one and is a trait on others throughout the Cape which have been decommissioned. The current brick tower replaced a typical Cape Cod structure with the light tower built into the roof. This privately owned structure guards the entrance to Barnstable Harbor.
